Team Development through Conservation
Conservation-based team development is an engaging and effective way for teams to understand and develop a range of work-related skills.
Activities to consolidate:
- Goal Setting and Goal Alignment
- Team Development
- Coaching and Mentoring
- Problem Solving
Using traditional tools, teams work together enjoying the ‘headspace’ offered by the rural location, tackling practical team tasks and recognising the relevance to their everyday work-place.
Alderfen Marshes offer the opportunity to work in a wildlife-rich, unspoilt environment tackling projects which enhance the habitat and natural diversity.
Teams learn a range of useful tools relating to teamwork, motivation, leadership, goal-setting and coaching whilst also taking away a working knowledge of some traditional rural conservation techniques.
Conservation-based team development is an extremely cost-effective way to develop your team, using a relaxing rural environment as a launchpad for work-based ideas and initiatives.
The Green Room itself provides a cosy, comfortable base, from which we explore the team development theory before setting off into the Alderfen Marshes Nature Reserve. With plenty of hot drinks and tasty snacks to keep the energy levels going - get face to face with nature in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
